Well I think I figured out the model of the computer, it's a Compaq (with the) Devil~666.
A couple of posts ago I mentioned that I thought I'd found something.
I had meant to include a link with the post and it 'somehow' slipped my mind.
After sayin' g'bye I remembered, and tried to post it. No good, couldn't get a thing to go. All I got was could not find server messages.
Rebooted: DSL modem, my router, two switches, my computer, etc. (basically my whole network) and still no access. Long story short, bad router (six mo. old Netgear gigabit). After replacing and configuring router, firewall, etc. I can get back on.
Can I find the site I was going to send? Nope.
So now, twelve hours and a couple of Franklins later, I've fixed my network, can get on-line, found the site, but am too skeered to try posting it.
If you reeeeeaaalllyyy want it, I'll do it. But watch out for the bad ju-ju, that old POS is possessed. Or maybe I should make that POSsessed?
Whatever, it really didn't want anyone messin' with it's insides!
Well, time for a tall scotch then set the clocks and off to bed.
