Coalition Forces Kill Al Qaeda in Iraq leader

Friday, February 24, 2006

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Al Qaeda in Iraq's leader in northern Baghdad was killed in a raid Friday, the U.S. military said.

The military identified Abu Asma, also known as Abu Anas and Akram Mahmud al-Mushhadani, as an explosives expert with close ties to important car bomb manufacturers in Baghdad.

He died in a northern Baghdad raid conducted by coalition forces with the help of Iraqi police, a military statement said..."

It would be a bit of silver lining if somebody picked up after the mosque attack squealed.

Another possibility is that this new is "breaking" but only in the sense that the U.S. military is just now reporting it. It could well be that this raid took place a few days ago, maybe before the explosion of the mosque.

I downloaded and installed in in Foxfire...and I can't find it anywhere.

If you've downloaded it, close Firefox, and then open it again. Come back to FR. Find a post that you want to reply to, click the "Reply" button, and then when your normal Reply box appears, right-click in it with your mouse...

You'll have a list of options. Choose "Open Xinha Here."

The HTML editor box will pop up.

Type your post. Use your mouse and the menu bar to add colors, change fonts, bold, etc.

When you're done, click "OK" and your post with HTML codes will automatically appear in the box.

Click Preview as usual.

If you like what you see, post it. If not, you can right-click in the box again, open Xinha again, and modify the comment before posting it.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Yeah, same here.  Had to restart a couple times, and it finally worked.

Kind of like the truth on some of these serial threads...it might take a few tries but the truth prevails.

I may end up turning off a few buttons that I don't need.  I checked all the boxes, and there was quite a clutter!  All in all, this is pretty cool.  Save some resources, even though my machine has quite a bit of memory, but FP loves to take up as much memory as it can.

This is neat but I'm not sure how much I'll use it. Most of these folks simply ignore the facts about this issue; making them three feet high and in a bright color just means it will take them a little longer to scroll past them and pretend they aren't there.

I pity the 72 Virgins...

I don't think they get the virgins if the just die, I think they must kill an "infidel" when they die. If so, NO VIRGINS FOR ABU!

(Hell is going to be a very lonely place for Abu....)
