Yes, now that you mention it, I think that's the guy. Double ugly.
That's the name. He was in fact a biggy, but lots of folks thought it was the other one.
Yeah..um...Anas al-Liby..wanted for the 98' African embassy operations...that was the other guy.
I think.
I have this one bookmarked!
Thanks...we both have downloaded the Firefox module that makes it very simple.
According to the Pakistan daily Jang newspaper, al-Libby was riding a motorbike while clad in a burqa, when he was captured by security forces in the Shadand Baba locality of Mardan district LOL
'tis a good day
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
Mardan is not that far from Damadola. If I remember correctly the arrest of al-Libbi took place becuase of a tip off of a mole inside AQ.. Al- Libbi was lured to the site of his arrest.
Mardan is on the outskirts of Peshawar.
So he might have been promoted into his leadership job only recently.
Another one bites the dust.
Thanks so much for this link. I have bookmarked and will practice when I have a chance. Have been wanting to learn this new skill.
Earlier I did a quick google, but came up with nothing positive. It was the al-Liby confusion that I knew you would remember, but I think other posters have already refreshed the memory.
My guess is that the Abu Asma was killed before the mosque attack, but that is just a hunch.
Good news bump.
Abu Asthma, also known as Abu Iman Anus.
