We have churches and universities right here in the US who support the terrorists over the right of Israel to exist.
We have American companies doing business with countries all over the world who would do us harm in a heartbeat.
If you want to be an isolationist and believe that will protect you......so be it.

And Senator Frist(R) and Cong. King (R) and plenty of other R's.

Do you believe there are NO national security implications to this deal?According to everyone who has presented FACTS, and not feelings, there are none.

>>>>No, that's not the case. We've just researched the issue. So have I. UAE banks financed the 9-11 attacks and they support the spread of jihadism.
If this was February 2002, 5 months after 9-11, instead of February 2006, this sweetheart deal would never have seen the light of day. Not much has changed since February 2002.

We need to take this out of the news and not allow the Dems to build on it to erode Republicans' image on national security.
That is cowardice. We should use this as a platform to demonstrate that we have all of our ducks lined up as they should be. What better platform can we have to showcase our strategy for national security?

Why are you for this deal again?Did I say I was for this deal? I don't recall saying that.
I do recall posting facts that most people for whatever reason choose to ignore.
I still believe that Islam is seventh century death cult...
As to this deal, I don't have a dog in this race. Frankly I could care less if DWP does business here. Maersk could do the job just as well...and P&O has done a fine job.
That boat with the .50 Cal and red stripe in the harbor is still American...

Someone ought to clue in the Port Authority that American Stevedoring located at the Newark Terminal is wholly owned by the Saudi Arabia Shipping Company...which in turn is wholly owned by the House of Saud... Past mistakes don't justify new mistakes...

One of the facts I found was that local governments own the ports. If that is true then the transfer from P & O to DPW is NOT about port operations, Correct?
Exactly correct, this is one of the biggest myths of this.. P&O runs port container facilities.. Basically they are travel agents for big boxes.. This is akin to a warehouse distribution facility next to an interstate.. Selling the rights to use a warehouse has nothing to do with the operation of the interstate.

Do you believe there are NO national security implications to this deal?Based on what the Bushites are saying, it sounds like this deal has nothing to do with America's ports whatsoever. Probably just some guy from Dubai purchasing a pair of socks from somebody in Manchester.

Limbaugh has zero credibility. I'm sure the objections of the Longshoremans union that he cited were a complete fabrication. So far, I have yet to see anyone refute the evidence.

believe in the bureaucratic judgments of big government Republicans. Why am I not surprised.Please. Look at my posts over the past years. A Republican cheerleader I am not. Matter of fact I could care less for the two parties and haven't voted for big government Republicans in years. However, this is the one of the few things in the past 6 years Bush supports that is right (don't hold me to 'few', I can't remember the last thing Bush did that I did support..). And the Republican faithful for the most part are lining up behind the unions..
