Service Level Agreements aside, it has gotten much more complicated to protect websites. Millions of home computers plugged directly into cable modems/DSL connections, default security settings, and no security makes it possible to launch huge traffic salvos (distributed denial of service, DDOS) against target sites.
The probable lib-wakos responsible are guilty of severely flawed reasoning, yes, but it is likely the expertise to pull off this kind of activity exists.

Is that 'fanatical support' as in: their fanatical about supporting their users, or 'fanatical support' as in: they support fanatics? If it's the latter, perhaps that's the problem.
