"I will forever despise Bush for his AWOL policy on immigration - the Government's attitude towards this very serious problem borders on treasonous."
OK, but the fact of the matter is, we have to build a lot more support for the Closed Borders movement inside the Republican Party before we can force this issue. Yes, the Republican Establishment is against us, but we can force the issue once we have a majority of Republicans solidly behind us.
The question is, how to do it? No easy answer obviously. The Minutemen are one great positive factor. Personally, I feel conservatives on the border are going to have to develop a "camcorder habit". Some of these camcorders could be unmanned. I would like to see a lot of footage collected of the border. Then someone could consolidate it and edit it, to present many graphic pictures of what is going on to any citizen willing to look.
It would be nice to have such films on television but realistically that's not likely. Nonetheless, DVDs could be produced on personal computers and DVDs can be manufactured at a low price per DVD---I believe it is 80 cents apiece. Many people would pay a couple of dollars for such a DVD which would defray the manufacture and mailing costs. (For now, there may not be any compensation for the labor put in, although that would be a nice touch in the future.)
