Ok then, lets change the scenario and see if you are still ok with it. Lets assume that the deal was announced with Hutchison Whampoa (subsidiary of Chinese army, operator of Panama Canal, Freeport container port, etc). Also assume that things are tense with Taiwan. Now word has came out that President Clinton (past or future) throws their full weight behind it and threatens to veto anyone from either party's legislation over it. Next word comes out that Bill Clinton's worthless brother has been seen raising money and talking strategic policy in Beijing.

You know, I think there is more to this story than what is being reported. That said, I refuse to comment either way until all of the facts are known. I have never seen so much anti-President Bush posts on this site. I refuse to give the left more ammunition.
