Tony Snow is back and better than ever! Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:
More Information Needed
Many who object to the port deal are concerned that they were not in the decision-making loop. Should more people be included in decisions of this nature? Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich (R) weighs in.
The Facts Win
After sifting through mountains of paper and doing acres of research, the port story doesn't seem like a big issue. But Tony will address any concerns.
The Zen of Bode
Why does Bode Miller insist he doesn't care about winning medals at the Olympics? What is he even doing at the Olympics? Fox News Contributor Tiki Barber thinks he knows the answer.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
LOL.
Good point! Excellent point.
IMO, Warner should have held off holding a hearing until more Republicans could have joined. He is the ONLY one there!
I'm just tired of your incessant criticisms whenever you see me posting on the same thread you're on.
I am EXTREMELY suspicious of the UAE and Arab nations in general...and before anyone makes the charge, it isn't a "racial bias". The fact is that Arab/ Moslem nations have not proved to me that they are, in fact, our allies. Two years does NOT constitute a track record.
The reactions to the recent cartoon publications certainly does not fill me with an "inner calm" at the prospect of allowing a Dubai based co. operate our ports. I don't give the UAE a pass on their involvement with CAIR or their public positions and attitudes towards Israel (an ally, too!) or with their "weaknesses" prior to 9/11.
Tony pointed out a few days ago that this qualifies me as one of the "hair-on-fire" folks. However, it probably should be noted that my concern is based on concerns for the safety of our own country.
Again and again, that is their only approach...allocate money. That will show how much we care. It doesn't matter how, or even if, it's spent.
I believe from the earlier postings that that was an inadvertent mistake, not a deliberate attempt to mislead.
Funny!
it's from http://www.dickcheneygunclub.com
Hillary Rotten can't even be original. She is now stooping so low, she's ripping off Schumer's themes.
That could be. I've relied on them extensively for their research over the years as to the decades old relationship between Saddam and Al Qaeda and was pretty sure they weren't a leftist organization, but I wasn't postive.
Thanks, that's a great site!
You're in good hands with the Late President Palmer lol.
"Trust BUT Verify". We have to start 'trusting' these guys a little. Not completely, just a bit. I know I run the risk of getting pelted with insults, but none of us know what Bush knows as far as the intell coming from UAE and to disclose it puts them in danger in fact they are probably already in danger.
Trust but Verify should be the rule here.
Only Warner? That's what I mean... these clowns are on every show with not all the info bloviating, when they should be on the floor or at this hearing.
A freeper just made a good point that Warner said at the opening that it wasn't a full hearing but a briefing. So maybe that accounts for why no Republicans are there except Warner.
Not that sad. Half of our brain is logical and half of our brain is touchy-feely. Speaking on behalf of the touchy-feely side, it is not all bad.
Touchy-feely brought us Snoopy and The Sound of Music and more songs than I can list.

You're right, I've used that site myself for research and insight. They're pretty good. I also use danielpipes.org and several others. I think the lesson of all this, really regardless of how it all comes out, is that we need to make sure all the facts are out. One of the Homeland Security folks is up now explaining about what I know from the information we send and how they use it. I got involved in this kerfuffle (thanks, Seattle Conservative and James Taranto) only because working for a shipping company and being a VERY Conservative guy, I thought I knew something about it. I don't like the DUmmie sites (in fact feel filthy after looking at them) because they cuss at each other, not to mention they are pretty much close to treasonous. I feel strongly about my politics, but the real enemy is those guys and the Al-Qaeda types who are the ones we ought to be afraid of.
I think you'll see him soon.
