Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

More Information Needed
Many who object to the port deal are concerned that they were not in the decision-making loop. Should more people be included in decisions of this nature? Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich (R) weighs in.

The Facts Win
After sifting through mountains of paper and doing acres of research, the port story doesn't seem like a big issue. But Tony will address any concerns.

The Zen of Bode
Why does Bode Miller insist he doesn't care about winning medals at the Olympics? What is he even doing at the Olympics? Fox News Contributor Tiki Barber thinks he knows the answer.

Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later.

If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request.
All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Hellary was out of control in that speech; regarding vouchers anyway. Footage from that should make for some good campaign commercials if someone is smart enough to use it.

I should clarify what I mean by left. They are left in that they are more libertarian then not and take the extreme positions that push them to the left as certain libertarians are going so far as to be left. IMO. You don't have to agree with me. But that is my take.

We should send that video and/or article about Hillary's speech regarding vouchers to the RNC.

Isn't that the voice of King Julien the Lemur in "Madagascar"?

I am really disappointed in Delay...you would think HE of all people, would want to "check the facts", before spouting "talking points".

Not to mention the fact that they bloviate about sensitive national security issues without having a clue of what they are talking about. A good reason why they are not given constitutional authority to direct foreign policy.

I just went and looked at their web site and they look as staunchly conservative as FR. But one look probably doesn't give a definitive answer.

They have done fantastic research over the years supporting the Bush administration's early (never to be repeated) contention that Saddam had a long standing relationship with Al Qaeda.

Would you rather have China 'doing' the ports? There are no American companies. Sometimes, like between Saddam and Iran in the 80's, you take the best deal you can, and work with it. That may only postpone the problem, but time can be an important ally.

PB, yesterday you asked if I was assured by a list of folks, and I said no. Today, I can say I am assured by Tommy Franks.

"THEY SPY FOR US! BINGO!"

In the next few days I sure hope we don't see anything in the MSM concerning suicide bombers in Dubai. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something as stupid as "suiciders" doesn't come to fruition.

he's got to deal with a lot of less than educated folks on issues that are supposed to be resolved at the sub-cabinet level.

So anyone who doesn't agree with it is "less than educated"? COME ON.

I hope he has this in mind. I have lost respect for many in Congress over this. They are being very short-sighted and the tin foil abounds. It proves that we as a country have learned nothing from history. Absolutley nothing. Foreign Policy is and always has been a game of cat and mouse.

nothing I reckon, but....the operators of the ports are less likely to do anything to help them...don't you think. The present operators, as far as I know are not muslims...who if you remember have promised to kill us all.

Even though you are gonna give him some slack, stick the Franks interview into Bob's face and get his reaction.

She needs to grow up.

And you need to keep the personal attacks to yourself.

This thread USED to be a haven for elevated discussion.

Excellent! Great! I am so happy you changed your mind.

I am hesitant to embrace David Horowitz, he is a former lefty and reminds me a lot of Pat Buchanan whom I don't trust either. Saddam and Al Queda are connected, comes as no surprise to me, nor do I see it as being a deal breaker with UAE.
