Tony Snow is back and better than ever! Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:
More Information Needed
Many who object to the port deal are concerned that they were not in the decision-making loop. Should more people be included in decisions of this nature? Maryland Governor Bob Ehrlich (R) weighs in.
The Facts Win
After sifting through mountains of paper and doing acres of research, the port story doesn't seem like a big issue. But Tony will address any concerns.
The Zen of Bode
Why does Bode Miller insist he doesn't care about winning medals at the Olympics? What is he even doing at the Olympics? Fox News Contributor Tiki Barber thinks he knows the answer.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
Gen. Franks: the UAE provided $100 million for Katrina relief; they have been providing resources and logistics for both Iraq and Afghanistan and I haven't seen any of that on CNN.
LOL.
If you spend all this time and energy trying to convince us dunderheads that selling the operation of some of our ports to an authoritarian MUSLIM government is a good idea...the deal goes thru...and sometime down the road, we are attacked by a bunch of crazy bombers who have entered our country in an un-inspected container...
What will you say to us then???......
"i'm sorry that I mislead you and helped get a bunch of you and your loved ones killed."......will not count for much..

Please ask General Franks if he will run for POTUS in 2008.
I would support him over any others mentioned.
Maybe Franks/Rice - sounds yummy lol
Thanks Peach -- can always rely on you
"Tommy Franks on Snow right now."
General Franks, I salute you. When will you be announcing your candidacy for President in 2008?
Game, Set, Match.
Go here. It's a very reliable stream.

Because of their links to the Taliban, we got information on them. Franks says these guys are absolutely no threat to us.
I second the nomination...Tony, please ask him!
Franks: UAE offered first $100 million to help Katrina victims.
He mentions several Arab countries who have helped in the WOT but UAE is at the top of the list. They've helped before 9/11.
Their linkage with the Taliban has provided the US with the best source of information about the Taliban that we've had.
We sold them our Apache helicopters and some other plane years ago. They represent moderation in the Middle East and we've worked with them for years.
A couple of soldiers, who asked to remain anonymous, said the UAE are wonderful to work with. They take great care of our troops over there.
One more thing. If you can't get any streams to work try restarting your computer.
I thought the same thing.
How is it that UAE needs this purchase in order to attack us?
Are you even listening to Tommy Franks discuss the UAE?
Don't get to ride ANYWHERE,
Never get near ringing the bells,
Won't ever let me toot the whistle,
But let the d*** thing jump the tracks,
I'm first to catch h*** about it.
(Old, old engineer lament)
That makes total sense to me. There is a very serious multi-level chess game going on over there. There is no black and white. Why can't people see this? Maybe because we are not supposed to know how intelligence works, but I read and I get what is allowed out there.
ok. you are doing a great job.
Wow!
