The president of the community college is Charles Wall. The college is celebrating Raise Your Voice month. I am not joking. But, if as student Trost did, you raise your voice against a killer, you pay a price at an American college. Like all colleges, they voice freedom of speech, then do everything possible to squash it. see

I might consider forgiving him after all these years, if he had served 30 or 35 years in prison, not sitting in a US Senate seat the entire time. What a slap in the face of all Americans that this criminal gets to sit in the Senate Judiciary Committee and pass judgment on such decent, honorable people like Condoleeza Rice, John Roberts, Sam Alito, etc. What an absolute disgrace. The man has no shame whatsoever!

Great article. Glad he did it! Hope he isn't punished. Free speech and all that. I'm also glad that he is making sure that his generation know about it.

I just had a dozen T shirts printed with that very line on it... Will wear it proudly! It has been my mantra for years.
Remember Chappaquiddick!
Hopefully it will instill in someone the yearn to look it up......And learn that the Senator from Mass is a murderer.
Has been for years.....Go read the police reports........

It sounds like this guy should get a full scholarship to a school like Grove City College or some other conservative Christian school, should his time on that campus be ended.

This is clear political speech.
He was expressing himself by his action (leaving) and communicating his evaluation of the ELECTED POLITICIAN's credentials.
If this student is diciplined in ANY way then this school should just shut its doors. It serves not purpose to society.
If this had bee conservative/leftist reversed, the announcer would be sued for provoking an outburst for not stating the complete history of the politician.

Kennedy left the woman to die, while he was in the motel calling his lawyer.

Good for him!!!!
I would like to know what adversities Kennedy might have had to overcome, perhaps how to get his money dispersed so none of it was taken by taxes??????????

If it was the lobotomized daughter, Ol' Joe would have given him a big ole sack of cash.

For you younger FreePers or just those who want to learn more, there is an excellent book called Senatorial Privilege. It may be hard to find but was a detailed account of the accident, investigation(sic) and hearing(mo sic).

We can't applaud the shouting down of opposition people while they are giving a speech.
Far more classier tactics would have been to
- develop a flier and have it on all the chairs before the event started,
- distributed a flier to people entering and leaving the event,
- having a large contigent of CRs holding signs with 'Remember Chappaquiddick' in the back of the auditorium or, if not permitted, outside.
- Bull-horning the senator as he entered and left the building
- Filling the front rows of the audience with CRs wearing T-shirts with the slogan
- Hitting the Senator with related questions if they allowed a Q&A.
Yeah, I guess what the student did was seemingly cool, but he does need to be punished for it.

"Can't you forgive him after all these years."
Yeah, just like libs forgive conservative politicians for their youthful indiscretions. And, of course, no conservative speaker has ever been shouted down on a college campus. Never. I'm wondering if any student at this school has ever before shouted anything at a speaker, and if the student was disciplined. Just wondering.
