A community college student in Massachusetts faces possible disciplinary action for shouting "Remember Chappaquiddick!" during an on-campus speech by Democrat Sen. Edward Kennedy.
Paul Trost, 20, a student at Massasoit Community College in Brockton, Mass., says he was upset by an introduction of Kennedy given by Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., in which the congressman noted how the long- time senator overcame hardship in life on his way to success.
"Lynch said Kennedy had overcome such adversity to get to the place he was, and that's a bunch of bull," Trost said of the introduction, which occurred in the school's student center Tuesday morning....

Now THAT would be truly funny (and likely to get him tossed out on his ear).
Way to go, Paul! He's taken the first steps toward realizing he really is a conservative.
Sure, Kennedy is seen as somehow sacred because his brothers were killed. Watching his embarassing performance with Alito made me wonder why there would be NO extensive coverage of HIS private life on the night's news shows, as there would have been had a Republican with a similar past called into question such a man's ethics.
That part where Kennedy said he tried to dive down to rescue her makes my teeth itch. She drown in a few inches of water. Does someone have that diagram?
I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. I hope this kid doesn't have an "accident".
Now I always hate it when the leftist students pull this crap, but I can't help getting just a little schadenfraude from this.
I like this kid's style.
"I tend to have what would be considered liberal views," he [Trost] explained, "but I go with whatever I think is right."
"I don't regret what I did," Trost said. "And if they ask me to apologize, I won't do it."
might mean as much as "remember the Alamo" does for Texans!
He'll be on Hannity tomm.
I would rather have drowned.

I should have added an /s so people don't think i know something I'm not sharing.
This guy describes himself as a liberal and even protested the Iraq War... good to see he keeps an open mind and isn't just a knee-jerk leftist. We need more Americans who look at issues independently.
If a Bush-basher faced disciplinary action for shouting something during a Bush speech, we'd be hearing about the chilling effect Bush's presidency is having on free speech, and the dangerous erosion of our civil liberties under this oppressive regime. But since it was a liberal who was heckled, we won't hear boo from the usual rabble of liberal hand wringers.
Trost, a liberal arts major who has protested the Iraq war, says he's not a right-winger.
"I tend to have what would be considered liberal views," he explained, "but I go with whatever I think is right."

Teddy was born in a log cabin, doncha know? He worked his way through school, picking cotton and digging up sugar beets. Then he earned a scholarship to Harvard, where he made this little mistake about an exam or something. The details aren't too clear.
The only potent set of jewels in Massachusetts...
