If there are Arab muslims in sensitive positions in the U.S. you can bet the farm they've been totally checked out by the FBI, and perhaps even being watched now. But it's impossible to check out all the employees, managers and company security people that will be generated through this Dubai takeover of our ports.

I can well imagine that al Queada is salivating at this turn of events. If they can place just one spy/terrorist at work in each port they will gain an important advantage, because the new Maritime company will be working closely with U.S. Coast Guard and Customs security people, and they'll get to know our security procedures and safeguards.

Even the very liberal President Roosevelt decided on the internment camps for Japanese citizens, to prevent potential infiltrators from passing sensitive information back to Hirohito's empire. We'll never have such camps in these suicidally 'tolerant' times we live in, nor will we have a leader with that kind of testosterone; but that doesn't mean we have to sell part of the security of our seaports to potential enemies. Or does it?

Totally checked out by the FBI? Like they did the 19 highjackers? Like the CIA has bungled intell? I doubt that government bureaucrats are able to competently or thoughly check out anyone. Case in point, "the person of interest" concerning the anthrax scare after 9-11 had a top security clearance and a string of phony degrees and references as long as your arm! He had been working at the Army's bio-weapons lab.
