Gold Star Parents to Iraq
Will do, Debbie! God Bless You!
Well, that is a possiblity. At this point we are in motion to promote what we believe in. There are over 2,000 families that do not agree with her or the message she is portraying for her son. I would prefer to keep this to the families that have not been heard. In all honesty, she has had her moment in the sun and blew it! This is for the families that support the troops.
Much love, Deb
FReepmail me and let me know how I can donate or post a reply here. zip
You can make a donation on line by logging in at www.moveamericaforward.com. You can donate on line or send a contribution by snail mail. If you have a family in mind, you can send the check to them, made out to Move America Forward with their name in the memo section. Thanks for your support. I think if I can manage to get Hannity and Colmes to focus on another name besides Cindy Sheehan, we may be able to send off these deserving families. Much love and Thanks, Debbie Argel Bastian
They will be risking their lives to see if the sacrifices they've given with are worth it.
Our soldiers over there will greet them with open arms and help to ease their pain in a way nothing you can say on the interent will ever accomplish.
Let them go and be honored by those that carry on the fight.
If our military doesn't have the resources to guard a few Gold Star Families, then we don't have the resources to win in this war on terror.
Godspeed, Debbie!
Hey, Cobra {{{hugs}}}
My National Guard nephew just returned in January and is here, visiting with us, now. We have been listening to stories, looking at pictures, relishing every moment with him. Today, he's spending time with our Marine, a gift we know is priceless.
This trip sounds marvelous. As much as it will mean to the families-and those of us who will be fortunate enough to hear your accounts of the trip- I really think it will mean even more to the service members you will encounter. What a gift you will be to them!
God bless you all, Debbie!!
Thanks for your comments. I am also from a strong military family, the daughter of a 28 year Marine and a Navy Nurse. I am doing this trip in honor of my son and his friends, who lead from the tip of the spear. My son was a member of an elite group that are called "the quiet professionals." I will honor my son's sacrifice in any way that I choose. Until you know the pain of this sacrifice, please don't be so quick to judge those of us who have. And thanks and God bless those good Americans who are supporting us!

Thanks for your comments. Our group hopes to bring home the message of the positive changes in Iraq, and we are in no more danger than a USO show that goes to entertain the troops. My son's team members, alumni from the AirForce Academy and troops in the field are contributing to our trip. They are looking forward to it, and that is ultimatly what counts! As far as Moma Sheehan...I'm not sure how happy they would be to see her. God Bless you!
Debbie
Having her refuse to go with you would be enough to make the point that she really doesn't care at all about the troops over there.
And if she did go and got an earful from the troops she might change her mind or at least melt.
It should be noted that during the Viet Nam War, not one protester saw fit to visit our troops in the field although Jane Fonda did snuggle up to the other side.
Hi Debbie.
It brings tears to my eyes to see so many proud moms doing such good work. They are tears of gratitude for the few, who have given so much, for the many. Your son would be proud of you.
My son is safely back home now. I'm glad to report that they have gotten some payback for your loss. Every time I see my son I think of women like you and the brave sons you have given for us all.
I made the presentations linked below to honor men like your son. They are not of the quality that I would like and could produce. Some volume leveling is needed and I'm working on that. They are EXE files, which one should not open unless from a trusted source. But its native Photodex.com format is the most compact way to distribute them. A comparable video is 10x the size and the quality not as good. But I believe you can trust me. If you have any questions, call me at the number I'll send you via PM. I can also create a web or DVD version.
One should not have more than one open at a time. They require some horsepower to run and some older computers may not show them well.
The first time you run them, they will install a Photodex.com plugin.
If you would like me to make one for you please let me know. I would consider it an honor to do so.
I'm am also including video that my son and his friends took. These children are free because of men like your son.
