Wish I'd have been there. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun.
What does "Takbir!" mean? He kept shouting that on the video I saw at MichelleMalkin.com
We support you 110% percent. We will stand up for you in the face of attacks, we will do what we can to help you fight for freedom of the press and free speech. And we will support your country by purchasing Danish products. If you need anything else, please ask!
Nice job folks. This trash doesnt deserve to be in the US. Those signs are funny as hell. :)
Thank you very much in Danish is "Mange tak" ("many thanks").
Or, eller: "Tusind tak"!!!
"I wonder if anyone might feel like joining me in gathering outside the Danish Embassy in Washington, in a quiet and composed manner, to affirm some elementary friendship. Those who like the idea might contact me at christopher.hitchens@yahoo.com."

"Thank you all. Please be outside the Embassy of Denmark, 3200 Whitehaven Street (off Massachusetts Avenue) between noon and 1.00 this Friday, 24 February. Quietness and calm are the necessities, plus cheerful conversation. Danish flags are good, or posters reading "Stand By Denmark" and any variation on this theme (such as "Buy Carlsberg/ Havarti/ Lego") The response has been astonishing and I know that the Danes are appreciative. But they are an embassy and thus do not of course endorse or comment on any demonstration. Let us hope, however, to set a precedent for other cities and countries. Please pass on this message to friends and colleagues." - Christopher Hitchens
Great stuff...and funny too....great work.
Zulu Shabazz and the Black Panthers made me visualize Forrest Gump.
"I'm sorry for ruinin your Black Panther Party"
The takbir is an Arabic name for the phrase Allahu Akbar (also spelled Allah-u-Akbar, Allāhu Akbar) (الله أكبر). Allahu Akbar is a common Arabic expression, which can be translated as "God is Great,"[1] "God is Greater,"[2] or "God is the greatest."[3]
This phrase is recited by Muslims in numerous different situations. For example, when they are happy or wish to express approval, when an animal is slaughtered in a halāl fashion, when they want to praise a speaker, during battles, and even times of extreme stress or euphoria. The phrase is said during each stage of both obligatory prayers, which are supposed to be performed five times a day, and superogatory prayers, which are performed at will. The Muslim call to prayer, or adhan, and to commence the prayer, or iqama, also contains the phrase, which is heard in cities all over the Muslim world. The actual title of this phrase is takbīr (تَكْبِير), while the phrase itself is "Allahu Akbar". In the Islamic world, instead of applause, often someone will yell "takbīr" and the crowd will respond "Allahu Akbar" in chorus.

Considering the situation last Saturday, where Shabazz threatened us, it would seem they were using the "God is Great" reference to justify killing us ... if the police weren't there.
I'm planning to be ther with Hitchens. Any others?
George
Yeah, I just loved the subtlety of pointing a finger gun and pretending to shoot.
That guy is certifiable.
Ping!
A very well written report. Funny and tart at the same time.
But I'm left handed and I'm not Michelle Malkin.
Oh, man! That sign was PERFECT!
