Bill Tierney will appear on Fox & Friends Monday Feb. 20 at 7:15 am with taped recordings of Saddam convesations along with english text related to Iraq's Nuclear Plasma Program linked to their Atomic programs. In a clear confession, Saddam along with 2 previously unknown scientist's discuss Iraq's ongoing Plasma Program.
Can't wait for the msm to report Saddam was merely talking about the new snow cone flavors, Atomic and Plasma, that were being added to the refrigerated ice cream trucks that were later found abandoned in the desert.
Good news!
I have let the Iraqi bloggers at "Iraq the Model" know about the tapes. He said that people in Iraq are not aware of them. Hopefully he can have a go at the MP3's at the intellgence summit site and see how they translate out to native Iraqi speakers in the key areas highlighted by the powerpoint presentation.
Good for you! I was thinking that someone should do that so I'm glad you did. I can hardly wait to hear ITM's reaction. Maybe you could please let me know when he has something to say.
I will. There must be other native speakers out there that can listen to these tapes. No WAY can we trust ABC news to translate them properly.
One wonders whether they will allow him to talk.
Should be interesting.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Thanks for the ping!
((((ping))))
Thank you for the heads up. I have been following this pretty closely.
MSM has already 'decided' , spinning, and reporting that, based on the tapes, Iraq itself posed no imminent threat to the US, because Saddam said any attack would not come from Iraq.
I am hopeful that something from the tapes will clarify the difference between Tierneys interpretation and what the biased MSM is reporting.
I thought I had remembered something from CNN on the topic of plasma. The CNN translator, HER INTERPRETATION of the tape, had this to say on Saturday Morning:
..........."The one topic of discussion in the last file that was released is a bit -- you know, can be touching on the issue of nuclear facilities and nuclear programs.
The discussion that I just listened to is about plasma. And Saddam Hussein has in his audience a scientist explaining to him plasma is used for, how plasma can be processed, the industrial uses of plasma, the military uses of plasma, and basically they discussed the fact that back in the '80s, early '80s Iraq started its nuclear program.
And in the discussion they go on to say in the late '90s the work was completed. So that gives the impression that maybe they completed a nuclear program. But they leave it vague so it is hard to tell if they were talking about that or not."

I will be very interested to compare CNN to what Tierney says this morning on Fox. CNN started their spin very early Saturday morning. IMO, the release of the tapes to the media was premature, allowing the MSM to put their own spin on them. I hope that those who attended the Summit will speak out in great numbers asap. Otherwise, even if there is proof that Saddam had wmds, intended to use them on US, and moved them just before the invasion, there will be no convincing the naysayers.
Other CNN transcripts re: the tapes:
HARRIS: Octavia, just a quick question. Anywhere on the tapes that you listened to so far do we have Saddam Hussein talking about Iraq launching an attack against the United States?
NASR: No, no, no, not at all. As a matter of fact, he does talk about an attack on the United States. And he said that he himself warned the Americans of that, that possibility, but he says when that happens it's not going to be coming from Iraq.
So he makes it clear, lucky for him, I guess, on this tape. He says -- he does talk about an imminent attack on the U.S. but he does say that this attack won't be coming from Iraq. "

OCTAVIA NASR, CNN CORRESPONDENT "But to ask the question, is it -- is there a smoking gun there? No. There's nothing to indicate anything really for sure that Saddam Hussein had any weapons of mass destruction. Certainly the desire to have them. That is obvious in many of the conversations. But nothing really to prove it............."
NASR: "So you see, he ends up saying, you know, had attack is coming but not from Iraq."
http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0602/18/cst.04.html
ENSOR: "U.S. intelligence officials say the 12 hours of recordings are just the tip of the iceberg. That hundreds of hours of recordings of Saddam Hussein and his aides are in U.S. hands and thousands of pages of documents, many of them yet to be translated.
But the man who looked for WMD in Iraq for the CIA says he expects nothing to emerge to change the view that despite what the Bush administration believed before the war, by the time coalition forces invaded Iraq, there were no usable weapons of mass destruction in the country and no programs to produce them.
DUELFER: There are no surprises in those tapes that bear on weapons of mass destruction."

For anyone who still gives two hoots about this issue, I have had several discussions today about the tapes and Tierney with liberal Democrats. Each time, the response I get is a hearty laugh and a link to this:
"Good old Bill Tierney. Hes the fellow who appeared on Coast to Coast, a few weeks before the war started: Bill Tierney
was the guest for the first two hours of Friday nights show. He believes that Iraq has nuclear capability
Tierney claims that he has pinpointed a hidden location in Iraq where there is a uranium enriching processing facility. You cant put an underground chamber on the back of a truck, Tierney said, indicating that if an inspection were made in this suggested area, the Iraqis would not be able to haul off the evidence.
Tierneys methods of ascertaining this location were rather unconventional. I would ask God and just get a sense if something was valid or not, and then know if I needed to pursue it, he said. His assessments through prayer were then confirmed to him by a friends clairvoyant dream, where he was able to find the location on a map. Everything she said lined up. This place meets the criteria, Tierney said of a power generator plant near the Tigris River that he believes is actually a cover for a secret uranium facility.
Of course even without Tierney, Coast to Coast is a somewhat bizarre radio show, covering unusual stories in the paranormal and stories that the mainstream media didnt want to touch. Heres one story currently highlighted on their web site: Ghosts not as scary as usually portrayed; Real ghosts typically appear in normal, natural form.
Tierney returned to Coast to Coast on 3/27/03. That night the guest who followed him shared this helpful information: an internal vibration like that of a jet engine could be the first clue that you are about to have an out-of-body experience. The night of Tierneys first appearance, Coast to Coast featured its Reincarnation Line: Candace from Redondo Beach told a strange tale of her possible former life as an American Indian.
For some odd reason, the interviewer in the FrontPage article didnt bother to ask Tierney why this uranium enriching processing facility that was hidden underground has never been found.
By the way, Tierney also apparently discussed this hidden plant with Hannity. Tierney said I can drive there with my eyes shut. Apparently he also said we will be shocked with what we are going to find in Iraq
[there is] no doubt we will find huge amounts of what Iraq swears it does not have.
I guess now we know where Bush got his information about tubes and yellowcake. Cheney had a clairvoyant dream.
Anyway, someone should call Duelfer right away and tell him about Tierneys assessments through prayer. And tell him Candace says hi. "
If that isn't enough, there's this comment....
"Asked about Abu Ghraib, Tierney said that for an interrogator, sadism is always right over the hill. You have to admit it. Dont fool yourself - there is a part of you that will say, This is fun.
Difficult to find a comeback for that, don't you think? I was going to say that I hoped that the Intelligence Summit would, going forward, represent to the media with someone, let's say, less controversial, but I think it matters not. Fox had Tierney on this morning, Hannity may have him on tonight and to my knowledge CNN hasn't found it necessary to report on the summit since saturday.
Unless there is some BOMBSHELL out of that Summit, this is over and done. A lot of people on here were dismissive about it to begin with, or at least acted like they were. I was optimistic. Disappointed/Silly me.
Kimberly,
Tierney was a Centcom agent that pinpointed targetting of Iraqi installions during the war. On top of that, he was a Unscom agent. That hardly disqualifies him as a "nutcase". Have you even bothered to listen to the tapes with an english text? Probably not. You also fail to note that the scientist is also briefing saddam about a Basra powerplant that needs repair to divert energy to the plasma program. This in a court of law would be deemed as a confession. It is only 2.5 hours of translated discussions. There is a LOT more.
Explain this Kimberly...
post-2000
Jaafar Dhia Jaafar to Saddam Hussien:
Sir, al-Haritha Station, near Basra, was one of the biggest stations destroyed during the period of hostility. We were thinking of using it for fission bombs and special bombs.
...there are two other points on the building . . we have some issues, even the electricity. I believe that the other establishments are present, in that we are now beyond our building plan.
Doctor Thamir(Plasma scientist) to Saddam Hussien:
The source of plasma that we created, started in . . the first start, through research and development, then simple test production, the first batches, then tests done through mathematical systems, then the production we achieved in the advanced stages at the end of the Nineties.
(note the time frame "end of the Nineties" far far beyond assessments that iraq stopped its programs in the early nineties)

Oh my Alex, I can see that I am being misunderstood!. Please know that I did not write as a personal criticism toward Mr. Tierney. What I am expressing is the feedback I am getting from the 'opposition' and my inability to counter the negative remarks about Mr. Tierney and place the importance on the tapes. I suppose that my excitement over the revelation of these tapes got the better of me and I was hoping that the media would have broad coverage. This has been a huge disappointement for me. I have been 'spreading the word' on a few of my favorite sites, been laughed at for the reasons I mentioned, and been unable to find a way to counter. It was never my intention to disrespect Mr. Tierney in any way and if I came across as doing so, I sincerely apologize. Also, I have tried to read/listen to the tapes and have not been able to get them to work at the Summit site. I am very much not computer savvy. I am very anxious to know everything contained in them!
Again, my apology for any misunderstanding.
I must also confess that I often attempt to use sarcasm and, frankly, am not much good at it!
CSPAN2 coverage now, 3:17ET!
