Exactly, that's why the press is so indignant, because Cheney timed things right to keep this off the Sunday news last week. There is (almost) no fury like the press scorned.

Had Cheney released this story last Saturday night, the old media would be screaming and yelling that he released it on a Saturday night with the sole intention of burying the story. Old media hate Bush and Cheney and they will work as hard as they can to make up any scandal to try to harm them. All the while, old media only continues to harm themselves with their oh-so-self-importance and arrogance in their "reporting". They have gotten beyond laughable.
