At some point someone thought it was a good idea when Clinton allowed Loral, Hughes, etc., to give our technology away to China (who in turn sold it to Pakistan and N. Korea who sold it to Iran)... sometimes it's better to hold things close to the vest.

Now, I understand what is going on is this company is buying a British Company which currently operates our ports and getting our six ports in the deal. I'm not certain how that is a benefit to us or why the British, who have their own problems, think it's a good deal for the UK.

However, I have no say in the matter and we'll all have to wait and see who is right on this issue. I hope the President and Condi are correct, but ... I look at the border situation and have to wonder.

As much as I love Bush and Condi etc. I keep telling my self that they are "politicians". Can any of them be trusted with our lives? A year ago I thought Randy Cunningham was a great guy and look where he is now.
