As much as I love Bush and Condi etc. I keep telling my self that they are "politicians". Can any of them be trusted with our lives? A year ago I thought Randy Cunningham was a great guy and look where he is now.
Unfortunately our country is run by people much more powerful than the President of the USA... we the people have very little power (it seems) and with the dummying down of our educational facilities it is only going to give more power to corporate interests.
I always thought Kennedy's assination was indicative of a major turning point in this country, more than anyone ever imagined at the time, and the hippy generation that followed only led us further down a perilous path.
