I think he is a decent man.
exactly
No reason to apologize....I think you made a good point... somehow we need to set the agenda as RG pointed out- but we also need to make sure we don't become "single issue" or lose the chance to reach others if we beat stories to death.... like Greta.... I mean she give 30 minutes to an 8 month old story that has 15 seconds worth of new information... IF NAY NEW INFO!
I think Greta got caught in that rutt when everyone was so enthralled with the OJ trial......LOL!
LOL ........ or the public was generally never interested in the old media's story to begin with.
Great point rodguy911. The media does hate it when we control the playing field. We should do more of that too.
This deal is going to go through, most in Congress knew about it, and there is nothing to the story. Most of the discussion is completely void of facts about the sale, what it means or how the ports actually work.
Dems swing for the fences, but are about to ground-out again.
"Bush's White House has too many secrets"
I saw this coming, but I cast it wrong as "Bush's White House is being mean to the press."
I think they saw how badly they were coming off and realized that if they took that tack they would just continue to sound like the whiners they are. They needed to recast the argument and this is their attempt. The fact that they primarily used the whiners in chief from each of their respective "talent" pools shows I was right in why they are doing it, but I missed what the meme (read that as spin) was going to be.
We have to do our best to call them on this one and your examples from the Clinton administration just nail them. We've got to get Rush and Tony to hit this on their shows big time tomorrow.
who is this WITCH on FOX NEWS...
talk about being from the MICROWAVE Generation...
oh- no that is giving her too much credit.. she is too busy churning out the doom and gloom failures of gov't...like it is the gov't job to just build everyone's house again for them overnight....
I wish I had a ZOT MOD for the news channels..LOL!
:-D
Thanks Morgan is it warming up there at all?
If there is one area that Freepers are falling down on the job, and I include myself in this, it's that we don't call our legislators with information like the ex-UN translator who says that ABC did not use his translation about Saddam threatening the US by use of proxies.
Similarly, I know that I don't e-mail the radio hosts often enough with stories I'd like to see them discuss more often.
I'd like to have my own talk show. It would be the greatest................ truly.
I just LOVE Sen. Simpson! Wish he was still in the Senate!
Bill Sammon has written a book called Strategery: How Bush is defeating the Terrorists and Democrats.
Howlin, Buckhead and other freepers are mentioned extensively in the book with regard to how to derailed the lies by CBS about the president's National Guard service.

lobbyists have contributed more money to Democrats than to Republicans, by a $53 million to $48 million margin.
@@@@@
Democrats believe in using Other Peoples Money. This philosophy extends down to the small potential donor. There are far fewer of these supporting the Dem party. That is why the so-called fabulous fund-raising of Howard Dean and Move-on was such a remarkable phenomenon.
Dems are used to "deep pockets" paying for things. So it follows that money would go more from lobbying groups to dems than to republicans.
Yes they are out of touch. What they have also failed to report is the 'human' side of the story. The WH press corpse (mis-spelled on purpose) had questions like, why weren't we told (e.g., spood-fed) right away, should the VP resign, etc. I think most Americans were asking is the VP ok, he must feel terrible - I would if I shot a friend, how is Mr. Whittington and his family, etc., etc.
The MSM also failing to understand that to most Americans this story is over, especially since everyone appears to be ok. As has been noted here, there are too many other important issue for the press to cover this non-issue. It was a non-issue after the 1st day, and even more so now.
