What I've heard from family, of current Corps vintage - is they LOVE the A10 Wart Hog..

The Wart Hog is so feared by the sheetheads, that just arriving on station is enough to keep the sheetheads shitting themselves and laying low.

I love the A-10 also. That plane will put the fear of God into anyone.

When an upgraded Buff comes fully loaded with JDAMS they can pretty much wipe out entire units with little collateral damage. Currently, there is talk about converting the Buffs in to ECM platforms.
