Last time I checked, the best American Olympic hockey of all time consisted of a bunch of college kids.

Fox News is doing its best to "help" NBC with their ratings.../s

I am watching Beltway Boys...and the crawl at the bottom just gave the results of the events being shown tonight on Prime Time....LOL..wonderful.

Hi there....local weather report from my scanner

I20 closed out my way....between Forney and Terrell. 8 wrecks in 15 min! Sand trucks can't keep up. Odd since it hasn't been sleeting here since this morning. Maybe some light drizzle is coating the roads....just reported 2 18 wheelers wrecked at the 1641 and I20....ugh

Very strange...I woke up this morning and heard that I-20 here in Arlington, and west through Fort Worth had lots of wrecks...and icing on bridges...

I looked out my windows and saw NOTHING....so this afternoon, I got ready to go to grocery store...walked out and my windshield was solid ice!! I turned around and stayed home...LOL

Suffice to say...I am SO glad your son stayed in Denton..just too much iffyness!!

Since the real Olympics has turned out to be such a suckfest, I think that I'll turn on Miracle and reveal in the best game ever played.

ESPNews has been doing the same with their scoreboard at the bottom of the screen even during the daytime while events are ongoing.

You can get live results online.

DISH Network carries the NBC Olympic Highlights Channel (granted it's "updated" after NBC's primetime coverage), but there is also a channel that allows you to see picture in picture (select one of the pictures and it takes you to that channel) the channels carrying the Olympics as well as an interactive onscreen application that allows you to read the medal counts and live results on screen.

Just let one of my dogs out....when he came in he was damp...seems there is a fine mist. Recipe for disaster!

So far, all 3 sons safe and accounted for.

I can't believe Fox told the results of tonight! How RUDE!

Actually, I'm not sure why the U.S. even uses NHL players. Last time I checked, the best American Olympic hockey of all time consisted of a bunch of college kids.

Because every other country does, save for Kazahkstan, Italy and Switzerland (who has only 2 NHL'ers on their roster - both Canadian born - one is DiPietro who hasn't played an NHL game in 10 years).

As an AP report said, "...the Swiss beat the near equivalent of an NHL all-star team with only two NHL players in their lineup.".

Hey we are putting NHL'ers up against these teams and are struggling.

Aside from veterans like Modano and Chelios, the majority of the USA Hockey team is comprised of second string NHL players who probably get very little ice time in the NHL itself.

That's because you can't just put a bunch of guys together and tell them to go out and play, they should have been playing exhibition games together before they went off to Torino.

It didn't help that most of them got snowed in just days before competition and couldn't adjust to the timeshift right away, and have to play 5 games in 7 days.

"DISH Network carries the NBC Olympic Highlights Channel"

Do you happen to have a number for that?

Berard was DQ'ed from the Olympics for testing positive for steroids. He was taking medication for thinning hair.

How RUDE!

It might have the tiniest bit to do with NBC's refusal to share video clippings from the Games. Monday morning Fox & Friends was reduced to Brian Kilmead reporting Olympic results while Steve Doocie drew stick pictures of the action. It was hysterical and they had plenty of jokes at NBC's expense.

Thank you, ever so. Did anybody ever consider that 9000 channels were too many to casually flip through? LOL.

I have a very short attention span, and get bored easily!

The other morning, they did have still photos provided by the AP.

Say I wonder where they thought of that!
