You are right. I try to be very particular on how I spend my entertainment dollars so as to avoid giving it to these creeps. Thankfully there are movie critics out there without big thumbs that can usually give analysis that helps keep me away from these creeps. I loved "The Hunt For Red October". Sean Connery is a cool old guy like me, but I do wish the Alec Baldwin character could have been played by someone like Tom Selleck or Gary Sinese or some other manly man.

My friends could not believe, knowing me, that I had no interest in seeing Pearl Harbor. I finally saw on cable a few years after it came out. Baldwin ruined the film. How can a pansy-a$$ whiner play a hard nosed serious military hero? Everytime he was on all I could think about was the interview I saw of him saying "Yes Kim [Bassinger] helps me make sure I never wear anything that comes from animals. Even my shoes!" He can't even dress himself. The guy is the moral and mental equivalent of a 2 year old!
They are talented actors, that's why.
