I also remember the story I read about Pat Buchanan confronting Ronald Reagan about the Japanese buying up our Banks and even the rights to manage Yellowstone National Park's vending and maintenance contracts. Reagan let Buchanan finish and without hesitation, he dismissed his concerns by saying
