I have pushed to put the preview thread together a little earlier this time because we are in a winter storm warning here in Memphis for tonight. The predictions are getting worse throughout the day, leaning towards a significant amount of ice and sleet. The last couple of times that has happened we lost power and, with it, the Internet for several days.
If that happens I may not be able to reply to this thread or participate in the Sunday thread by as early as late tonight or tomorrow morning. That wouldn't be a tragedy for anyone but me, except that I've been tentatively asked to fill in this week on the awards stuff for ABs thread.
Lame as my attempt at that noble task might be, I hope everyone will bear with me if it just ain't possible to get on and read the posts. let alone give them the thorough analysis they deserve.
In the meantime, have at it here and let's see if we can dig out any pre-show info that will help us see what the old media is trying to do to us before they do it.
Excellant work.
Sort of a "pre-emptive" strike on the talking heads.
I like it. Offense is vastly preferable to Defense, imo, and unlike the Democrats that take to the airwaves days before a Bush speech, your post is informative. Their rhetoric never is.
Oh, look. NOT on this week's agenda, Berlusconi fires Italian mnister in who printed t-shirts of mohammed cartoons, while Clinton "denounces" free speech in Pakistan. I wonder if the actions of the Black Panthers in DC will afect the msm talking heads.
But this new edition says he's okay...
Mr Gregory;
Most Americans felt your behavior at the White House this week was childish, emotionally hysteric and out of control. Don't you think you owe the American People an apology for the many mistakes you made this week in losing control like that? Don't you think this weeks loss of professional control makes it impossible for the American People to ever take you seriously as a "Journalist" in the future? Mr Gregory, do you realize what enormous damage your childish behavior has done to your profession and the Journalistic Credibility of NBC news?
This is the writer of "The Republican Attack Strategy", with is just chock full of lies. He calls supporters of the Administration "Busheviks." Note that he is working as a reporter, for Fox no less. No bias in the media!!!!
Great job!
I see David is getting Timmy to protect him.
'The MSM are out of their tiny minds, particularly CNN for lashing out at Brit Hume and Fox for the Cheney interview'
I loved Brit's comment on this at the end of that Special Report. (paraphrasing) 'I was asked how we got the interview. I told them it was not because we are the house organ for the pubs, but because we had the largest audience. I don't think that quote will show up anywhere.'
Should be an interesting Sunday AM. I see the odds are stacked, once again, against President Bush.
Add me to your ping list, please.
