Did Dan Rather start working for ABC?
What we need is the transcripts in the original language and someone who can provide a word for word translation to verify what side is correct without question.

The media sensationalizes and hypes the news.
Except when that could help Republicans.

so ABC makes it look like Hussein was the good guy warning the U.S. about a strike when it actually translated what they WANTED us to know, not what was actually said...
Yet another reason why the MSM is starting to lag way behind..

I knew there was a catch if ABC was involved.

Heehee.
The media's main objection against the war...that Saddam had no ties to terror...is being blown to bits.
To: areafiftyone
In a passage not used by "Nightline," Tierney says Saddam declares:
"Terrorism is coming . . . . In the future there will be terrorism with
weapons of mass destruction.
What if we consider this technique, with smuggling?"
Thanks ABC...for "burying the lead".
With SIX of our major ports about to be taken over by an entity from
the United Arab Emirates, even an reporter for a high-school
newspaper would know this is HOT stuff.
But I can understand the MSM/ABC missing this.
They are in grief over the fact that Cheney didn't kill a man.

Now lets get back to what is really important.
Is it true that Cheney was using depleted uranium pellets in a shotgun given to him by Jack Abramoff?

ABC News apparently didn't learn anything from their phony story against Food Lion and the "tainted meats" from years ago. I hope this hits the fan...

I wondered by Tierney would TRUST ABC...
I know he was with Fox before the war...and I have seen a few reports by him on Fox since.

"He was discussing his intent to use chemical weapons against the United States and use proxies so it could not be traced back to Iraq," I thought that was obvious -- even with the ABC mis-translation.

Well the tapes are going to be available to everyone soon so anyone can translate them. Pretty stupid of ABC.
To: areafiftyone
Sean Hannity had the FBI translator on his radion program yesterday backing this story up. Very troubling.

Saddam - "What if we consider this technique, with smuggling?"
Any more news on the huge Tiujana tunnel recently discovered? Earlier I had heard/read rumors that it was feared nukes/dirty bombs were smuggled through it.
Nothing substantiated though....
