Breaking on Fox.
Woo hoo! God Bless Harry and God Bless the United States of America!
Good friends with the Armstrong's for years. We all assume risks...accidents do & will happen.
This will send them into further melt down
What a trooper. Nice guy.
lol
He's been friends with Armstrongs for years.
He's reading a statement, haltingly.
"We all assume certain risks in whatever we do....regardless of our experience..."
"Accidents do happen, and that's what happened last FRIDAY......he said Friday.........
Now the press is going to go wild!
Oh oh...he said "last Friday." The press will definitely pick up on that error.
And (according to the doctor's intro) he is still too weak to field any questions. LOL
just heard he'll be discharged later today.
Deeply sorry for all the Cheney's have had to go through this week.
"Great sport" of quail hunting. Accidents happen. thanks to those who remembered him in prayers. Cheney and his family have gone through a lot.
Democrats: "Shut-up, you're not fooling anyone, you'll be stone dead in a moment."
I was hoping he would say "I'm delaying this statement indefinitely, because David Gregory has not yet arrived. When he gets here, we can get underway."
"My family and I are deeply sorry for all that VP Cheney and his family have gone through this week.....we hope he will continue to come to Texas for the relaxation he deserves."
Absolutely.
I bet a thread is up at DU right now.
Two words:
Class Act
Whittington: Suit and tie. A few half hearted claps from media.
"You've been very patient waiting for me. I know you want to get the news out to the public. I've read and seen many of the reports and know your job isn't easy. I regret I wasn't here earlier.
For many years, we were friends with the Armstrongs and have had wonderful trips that we cherish. However, this past weekend, all of us were in a cloud of misfortune and sadness not easy to explain, especially those not familiar with the great sport of quail hunting.
We all asume certain risks in our activities and no matter how careful we are, accidents do happen. And that's what happened last Friday. (He m ust mean Saturday)
I want to thank people who remembered me in their prayers. My fam ily and I are deeply sorry for al lthe VP Cheney and his family had to go through this week. We send our love and respect to him as they deal with situations m uch more serious than the one he dealt with this week.
I also thank all of you for understanding the best you can that medical attention is very important to someone my age and you haven't failed to report my age.
I want to say there aren't adequate words to express my gratitude and appreciate for the talented physicians and medical staff, nurses of this great hospital system.
Says regardless of how careful we are, accidents will and do happen.
He's behaving as a class act. Says he and his family are deeply sorry for everything the Vice President and his family have had to deal with this week.
Hopes the Veep will continue to come to TX and seek the relaxation that he deserves.
Thanks the doctors, nurses etc for all the good care.
