And remember, that crackling sound as you walk by the deep fryers isn't the food frying, it's your arteries hardening.

Did they steal that idea from the "King Of The Hill" episode where they deep fried a candy bar? They also deep fried a can of beer but that didn't work out very well.

It's really hard to get the beer to stay on the stick! GRIN!
I know I am going to have the worst case of indigestion and I will love every min/hour of it! BURP!

Treat for a really hot day..pour a can of beer into an ice-cube tray...then pop a frozen cube into your mouth

Hear, hear!
Our local Thai restaurant does a deep-fried ice cream that is remarkably good. The scoop of hard-frozen vanilla ice cream is dipped in a nice light fluffy batter, then deep fried and served with a raspberry sauce.

I think this dish is straight from Scotland Well, of course! What better way to top off a hearty meal of deep-fried haggis?

mmmmmm! Thanks for the thread and recipes. I never could figure out how they got their food to taste so good. When I try it it never comes out the same.

I saw a booth with Deep-Fried Twinkies at a local fair.
No, I didn't buy one.
