That almost happened to me once on a pickup for the thrift store.The traffic in front of me came to a sudden stop and we were doing around 60-the tractor in back of me could not stop that fast and had enough room to ride the shoulder-saved my life.

When I was green....On the way to work, I was stopped at a red light.

Car coming in the opposite direction ran a red light and a car barreling through the cross street hit it.

The crossing car continued forward and hit a fire hydrant...Much water spewing.

I got out of my car and ran to the vehicle in the street. Windshield was busted so I knew there was a head injury before I got to the drivers side.

You know what they say about not moving the injured person because of a neck or back fracture.

Driver was in the front seat having a grand mal seizure.

I nearly wet my pants.

Got as far as trying to check a pulse before ems showed up.

I was late for work.

Then there was the time I had to Heimlich a school bus driver on the way to work....
