The doctors at the hospital where Whittington is has already blasted the media on this. They're clearly annoyed at how far out of proportion this thing has been blown.
It is pretty telling that they had to keep the guy in ICU when he didn't actually have to be there, just to keep the freakin' MEDIA from bugging him! Not to mention that someone else might have actually needed that ICU bed.
CNN said some reporters tried to get up on his floor anyway.
