I just heard something on the radio about Johnny Weir throwing a hissy and storming out of the rink. Do you know what that's about?

Looks like maybe yes.

That 4-guy snowboard cross is one of the dumbest "Olympic" sports I've ever seen. The guy that gets in front stays in front and wins.

The three guys in the back get to jostle each other till two of them take a spill. Everyone watches breathlessly to see the crashes, because the race itself is dumb, dumb, dumber.

Pretty soon snow-shoveling will be a winter Olympic sport.

I'm going to make hubby watch the men's skating with me. I expect he'll fall asleep within minutes.

Earlier today I was searching ESPN for news of the men's skating finals, and I found a link to something like "Model Olympians". There are 40 or so pics of Olympians. One is of Michelle Kwan, and it reminded me of John Kerry's daughter in France. I was a little shocked. I would post the link, but I'm too lazy.

Can you tell me how Lysack did?

I just saw his performance and it was amazing.

Saw that brief interview and learned that he had been quite ill the other day.

Make's this performance all the more special.

Here's how I scored the men's figure skating tonight:

Worst hair, worst costumes, worst jewelry, worst music, worst choregraphy, worst artistic interludes and connections between jumps, worst interface with audience, worst hang-dog looks after skating (lasting till the skaters disappeared from the screen), worst passion, worst masculinity and worst of all, least facial energy, pride, and class in expression and posture displayed on the ice or in the box after winning or losing.

I was watching the Iron Chef competition between watching each skater for half a routine.

I just couldn't get into caring for any of them as I normally do.

You even needed a search warrant to find the non-understandable scores flashed way down on the bottom in tiny print like they don't want anyone to see them or study them for more than a nano-second.

What a bummer and waste of time tonight.

I have a few questions about the US womens curling team:

What are their names

Who among them is most likely to have an embarassing video come out sometime after the olympics, and eventually smash somebody with a hub cap?

Do you have a link?

Thanks!!
