I liked the quote from the Sheriff when the media wouldn't drop it:
"Anyone who has questions about the report....go read the report again".
LOL! I think maybe he hates MediaCrats too!

"CNN said some reporters tried to get up on his floor anyway."
I wouldn't put it past them to try something like that. Morons. Can't they let the poor guy rest???
No, they have to prove that he's still alive, and that Cheney didn't kill him. The American People deserve the REAL STORY, after all! /sarc

(Sorry, LameStream Media - Cheney's "victim" didn't die. Can you quit flogging the dead horse NOW???)
To: Jrabbit
Looked pretty cool when they previewed it on the Olympic Highlight show earlier today on MSNBC.

I have to admit I am enjoying it more than the half pipe thingy. Pretty cool how they are allowed to smash into each other!

LOL
I love NASCAR.
Period between the Superbowl and NASCAR starting up again has to be the most boring part of the year.
Daytona 500 later this month then MLB will be kicking off again.
Whats the weather like in Kaufman County?
"Siberian Express" is arriving here in Coleman.
Temp this afternoon reached 89.
Gonna be freezing tonight according to forecasts.

I didn't hear the Sheriff's comments, but it's good to know that he doesn't take any guff from these media hacks.
Wouldn't surprise me if this Sheriff ran as a Republican on the county election ballot.

Daytona 500 is this weekend. It better be. My husband left today for 3 days of SOMETHING.
To: Utah Girl
I made the mistake of going to Drudge to see what his headline was, and ended up spoiling my Olympics tonight.

I like it. First of all, it is a race, so I can understanad it (no judging by Euroweenies). It is fast and dangerous, which qualifies it as a sport rather than a game or exhibition.
I think this is a good addition.
I vote for making this get more coverage than some of the other things, like men's figure skating, which is turning out to be something most likely to be followed in San Francisco.
We are under tornado watch here. Counties south and west of us have spotted funnel clouds.
I am sticking with this rather than O'Reilly because of the weather warnings.
