I think Dick Button made a comment about the music at ice skating competitions now. He doesn't like the modern selections, and he says some skaters now just throw their moves together to meet the new skating scoring system. I think Peggy Fleming also said that music selection is very important, if the crowd can't get into the music, usually the ice skater doesn't connect with the crowd.

They also said that more and more skaters are not connecting with the crowds when they skate. They complained about how slow some skaters were skating and the lack of passion. I agree with most of their comments.

I hope this is worth the wait

Frankly Weir is a good skater and if he does the quad he just might win a medal. I hope he's interviewed before hand so you can see for yourself what a loose cannon he is. That will be worth the wait.

I agree. Evan was the exception. The Russian and the Swiss guy will possibly have good music.

WHO is getting these kids to skate with this bad music?

I think the choreographers might be tired with the classical music. They want to be avant garde or cutting edge. I think it alienates people.

Sasha Cohen will be skating to Romeo and Juliet. Lovely music, gorgeous program.

I agree. How can you connect with the audience when they can't clap to the music. No rhythm, just a crazy beat. Makes you want to snap your fingers when it's over.

Isn't it funny how, in the Summer Olympics, we hear soooo much about the gymastics coaches. We all know their names by the 3rd night.

But here in the snow we never hear a word about coaches.

Have you also noticed none of the uniforms have the country name on them? "USA" used to be on all our uniforms. Odd.

Weir has a girlfriend? Must be a race to get to the mirror to put on makeup. If you look closely at Weir you'll see he curls his lashes and tweezes his eyebrows.

"Just checked on Fox...Greta is on Aruba again!"

Gotta fill that hour with something. I'm surprised she doesn't have Mark Furman on to answer questions about the Sheriff's report on the Cheney/Wittington accident.

She doesn't do botox; she had some nips and tucks though.
