Bush's new nickname for Cheney: Birdshot
Or that could be his new Secret Service code name

Bad weather coming your way. I was caught in a nasty hail storm today, and I was on the highway! I've never heard pounding like that in the car.
To: Jrabbit
This is alot more fun to watch than the halfpipe.

Ten below here for a high in NE Montana tomorrow. Looks like this system here is slowly going to move east, right along the jetstream.

I think I like this better than downhill skiing, which I have always followed (ever since the legendary gold medal run of Austria's Franz Klammer).
I like that there are multiple people on the course at once.

I was born in Lafayette! Dad went to Perdue.
Texas used to have the weather you're getting. I remember growing up in Dallas all the snow we used to get and tornados....now it's just boring. LOL

I used to not like NASCAR. Thought it was just guys in cars going around in circles. Hubby watches the races every weekend, so I sat down to watch with him a few times. Now I'm starting to know the racers...the numbers on their cars...their sponsors...which ones are cool and which ones are hothead whiners (Tony Stewart has settle down, though, to his credit). Scary.

At least Rudy Galindo is NICE, and he's not a prima donna. I actually like the guy.

We haven't had boring in a long time. In fact, three years ago we had a September tornado hit my neighborhood about 4 houses north of us.
OK...Skeleton! And, of course, we have to talk about an unmarried competitor expecting a baby!!

Central New York here. We're supposed to go down to 11 overnight, then have a high of 41 and rain mixed with snow. Saturday snow with a low of 3. Sunday, a low of 8 and for now, it's supposed to be partly cloudy, but I'm sure they'll change it to snow. We rarely have more than one day a week of sunshine.

I don't follow NASCAR, but I tell my cousins who are diehard NASCAR fans that I like Jeff Gordon, just to get a chuckle.

Yes, the Daytona 500 is this weekend. He's not lying to you :-)
I think it's always Presidents' Day weekend, isn't it?

Consider yourself hooked.
NASCAR is worse than dope, I guess?
Same with baseball, slow boring game.
But when something happens it is blinding quick.
Watch a few MLB games and you will be hooked on them too.
