I've heard some are trying to talk Thurbert Baker into it. He'd be a fool to leave the AG's office. He's got a pretty strong grip on that job.

No surprise here. Voters have no complaints against Governor Perdue, and are satisfied with his performance.
The real contests are the down-ballot races. Republicans need to make a higher priority of winning the down-ballot statewide races.
