What a shameless diatribe. And on a broadcast in which people are paying for entertainment, not to hear the racists rants of little men with a black chip on their shoulder. I expect that HBO is going to hear a lot about this.
Can't wait, for 2008. When the American people can let there voices be heard in no uncertain terms, that they are fed up with the rants of bigoted little men.
That's just not fair. Gumball is the most intellectually sophisticated sports announcer anywhere. He understands the impact that the "Reagan years" has had on all those millonaire athletes he interviews. Truly, he is a great man in his community, one whom young black men should emulate ...that is, if they haven't got the brains to be doctors or scientists but have to settle for being a "stuffed shirt" instead.
I was going to do it anyway, but they didn't need to know that.
"Face it these Olympics are little more than a marketing plan to fill space and sell time during the dreary days of February."
What is February? Could it be ... perhaps ... Black History Month?
Do you think that Bryant is really just pi**ed off because some white folks had the audacity to play in the Italian snow during BHM?
I've got an idea. Bryant should take some of the sizeable check HBO is paying him and open an olympic-hopeful training camp in Vermont or Montana, or somewhere.
Your female blondness has bested my male brunetteness. :)
Nice catch. I think your on to something.
It is the double standard that requires conservatives to act like mature adults, while allowing liberals to act like errant children. I think the American people have tired of it too.

sport (spôrt, sprt)
NOUN:
1.
a. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
b. A particular form of this activity.
2. An activity involving physical exertion and skill that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often undertaken competitively.
3. An active pastime; recreation.
Actually, Figure Skating IS a sport.
Nope, not until they get rid of the judges. Until then it's a judged event without the kind of scoring system necessary to make it a sport. Don't care what the dictionary or anybody else says, no judged event will ever be a sport, period, non-negotiable.
So...boxing by your standards is not a sport either!
