New York -- For days, the White House news corps has pounded the Bush administration, demanding to learn more about Vice President Dick Cheney's accidental shooting of a hunting companion Saturday.
Cheney finally addressed the incident Wednesday, but the forum in which he chose to do so -- in an exclusive interview with Fox News host Brit Hume -- quickly became another source of contention.

"Critics slam Cheney's interview choice" Who cares. To those who respect Cheney for 'who' he is, and to those who respect Vice President Cheney for 'what' he's accomplished - it won't matter what critics say!

Do these people ever stop *itching?! Why would VP Cheney go to one of them when they have treated him like dirt from day one?!!!They really need to grow up and figure out why no one wants to watch them instead of complaining about Fox News kicking their butts.

What did they want to ask that wasn't asked?

Speaking of tweaking the media, on Rush yesterday he said if they catch bin laden, the white house ought to release it to the Grass Valley California Gazette. LoL!

"Now that he feels forced to talk, he wants to restrict the discussion to a friendly news outlet, guaranteeing no hard questions from the press corps," Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., said in a statement.
These smug elitists bastards think that NBC's David Gregory's classless antics are the norm for a good interview.
Of course these same kinds of classless leftists think a funeral is a good reason for a political rally.
I sort of figured that all the MSM would go crazy over Cheney choosing the best network on television.

Jack Cafferty is a "I hate Republicans" POS. So is Greenfield, who was crying this morning on Imus, that garbage bin of a show.

What's sad is that, once upon a time, CNN was the finest news outfit in the world, very balanced and unpolitical. It's sad to see what's happened to them.

CNN and the formerly dominant media hate the competition of FOX. So yes, they wont show anti muslim cartoons, but they happily show more pictures of terrible torture (dogs barking, laying on the floor etc) pictures from Abu Graib.
The object of the media is more dead soldiers to report more of how the war is going badly.

MSM idiots, in case you didn't know by now.
FOX ROCKS!!
Why?
Because they are fair and balanced, and like the VP said, they have a bigger audience.

Not being a sports follower I was channel flicking last night and saw an American Team, with China, Japan and somebody else skating around a small rink.
It was some kind of relay with each team member giving the next a push. I found the skill and teamwork very interesting. I watched the next 6ish minutes or so and saw the spill the other two teams took.

Bummer for the MSM - he had to have a conversation with Britt Hume and was allowed to actually answer without a hundred rabid "reporters" out-yelling each other with inane questions and accusations. How dare the Veep choose a venue that might actually go off in a civilized manner?

Cafferty didn't even says "Fox News." He said "the F-word network." I heard him.
This from a man who left the scene of an accident last year.

"But Fox is becoming increasingly unwatchable, and their radio news reports are falling right in line with ABC"
To be "fair and balanced," if you owned stock in News Corps, wouldn't the idea of stroking viewers from both sides of the aisle seem like a wise decision?
