....Hill's developed into a painfully stiff, but hardworking, speaker with world-class hairstylists and center-right ideals that poll well in red states.....

Hillary's been mighty busy getting an Extreme Makeover. The question is ---in light of the resounding 2004 Values Voters Victories---how "conservative" will Hillary get? After she opens a charge at Wal-Mart, enrolls in divinity school, and gets a lifetime membership in the John Birch Society, she'll need to get a shopper's card at Sam's Club, and schedule daily morning prayer services in her Senate office. And just to make sure she covers all bases, Bill will take an anti-adultery pledge in the vestibule of the National Cathedral, when Hillary takes her minister's vows. Oh, and after rifle-range practice, Hillary will campaign for 2008 wearing the official DNC apron, and give cookie-baking demonstrations

We went to Madame Tussaud's when I went with our daughter's Girl Scout Troop on a trip to NYC back in 2003. I got a picture of my self in between Castro and Yassir Arafat giving them both horns behind the head. ;o)

There was an awesome tribute to the firemen and policemen who responded to the 9/11 attacks, including a wax replica of the three fireman raising the flag at the site of the attack.

The real problem for Hillary is the primaries. She has violated the first rule of presidential politics. That is, "First get the support of the base, then run for the center."

Hillary, being the smartest woman in the world first ran for the Center... and the base is ticked off.

That is why 51 percent of the voters say they would not vote for her at all. 16 percent of voters are in her corner and 32 percent say they would consider her for president.

Look at those numbers. Sixteen percent is not even half of the Democratic base. And It is obvious that Hillary will do best in the liberal states perhaps she is currently at 17 to 30 percent. She will likely be at 5 to 10 percent in the conservative states and only 10 to 16 percent in the battleground states. That is not enough to win enough Democratic Primaries to be the nominee.

The Democratic Base sees Hillary and Bill as DINOs. They were in office 8 years and did not get one liberal thing accomplished. What they did do was enact a lot of the Republican agenda. It was the Clinton's who ended welfare as we knew it and said the era of big government was over. To a leftist Democrat not even a RINO is that conservative. The Democratic Base does not want any more of the Clintons.

The Democrats are not in love with Hillary. I think HIllary stupidly believed that the nomination was hers for the asking. First after McCain Feingold was found legal, she and Bill took most of the fund raising power from the DNC and put it in Clinton Controlled 527s. She felt that if the Clintons were the source of money for most Democratic candidates, they would have to support her for president. I think she felt she would not face opposition in the primaries.

But Howard Dean fooled them. They have been trashing Howard for not having a lot of money in the DNC accounts. But Howard did raise a lot of money.. He just transfered it from the DNC to the state parties. That is one reason the state parties love Howard and they are not dependent on Hillary as a source of money. It will now cost Hillary and Bill big bucks just to keep the state party people neutral.

Plus Hillary is just not likable. People like Bill. People as a rule do not like Hillary. That can be as many as 10 million votes in a presidential election. The base knows her as a RINO that could be 5 to 10 more million who would likely sit on their hands on election day in Nov 2008. Those two things if not overcome would make Hillary impossible to elect.

But the big factor is the democratic base does not want her. And every time W. refers to her husband as his brother and they publish a picture of Bubba sucking up to the Bushes the base goes ballistic. They will vote for someone else in the primaries.

Hillary will have to make a very hard left turn in order to get the nomination. If she does she will not stand a chance at winning the general election. If she does not make a hard left turn, she can't win the primaries.

The media is trying to tell us the choices will be Hillary against McCain. McCain does not have a snowballs chance against anyone in the Republican primaries. And Hillary is in big trouble as well.

It is very hard to know a full two years in advance who the Democratic Nominee will be. In 1970 no one would have predicted McGovern would be the Democratic nominee in 1972.. Yet he was. In 1974 hardly anyone outside of Georgia has heard of Jimmy Carter but he got the nomination in 1976. In 1990 no one was predicting Bill Clinton would be the Democratic Nominee in 1992.

The media has favorites and they try to promote them. But they have had zero success at doing that over the years.

Hillary wants to be president. She does not want to be the Defeated Democratic Nominee and she wants to be defeated in the primaries even less. I think if nothing changes Hillary will not run.. She will wait until 2012.

The media rarely knows... and rarely reports the truth when they do in fact know it.

The media polls only get accurate just before elections.

I have always thought it was strange that Hillary would run for the Senate in the state of New York.

It dawned on me one day that she did so because she was assured of winning. That's right, I think the outcome was assured ahead of time. She would not have run if there would have been any doubt about her winning. Her ego cannot handle any form of rejection. It would simply shatter her image of herself, which she is incapable of handling emotionally.

Based upon this premise, I predict that Hillary will run in '08 if she is assured of winning. That is, if she runs, she will be elected. The demoRats will have rigged enough precincts in large metropolitan areas that will assure her of being elected. If she isn't sure she is going to win, she will not run.

With the current laws as I understand them, she can campaign and collect contributions without recourse. If she does not run, she gets to keep all of the contributions that were not spent, thus personally enriching herself. She has nothing to lose in acting like she is running.

If she runs, the fix is in.
