I have always thought it was strange that Hillary would run for the Senate in the state of New York.

It dawned on me one day that she did so because she was assured of winning. That's right, I think the outcome was assured ahead of time. She would not have run if there would have been any doubt about her winning. Her ego cannot handle any form of rejection. It would simply shatter her image of herself, which she is incapable of handling emotionally.

Based upon this premise, I predict that Hillary will run in '08 if she is assured of winning. That is, if she runs, she will be elected. The demoRats will have rigged enough precincts in large metropolitan areas that will assure her of being elected. If she isn't sure she is going to win, she will not run.

With the current laws as I understand them, she can campaign and collect contributions without recourse. If she does not run, she gets to keep all of the contributions that were not spent, thus personally enriching herself. She has nothing to lose in acting like she is running.

If she runs, the fix is in.

Nice take.....looking back, as a candidate, the attitude she presented to voters was awfully smug and self-satisfied.....as if She Knew.
