It's okay, Connie. Your tilapia are probably farm grown. It's just that tilapia here taste like mud 'cause that's where they're caught.
As a kid in upstate NY, we fished all the time in summer. Creeks and streams were ok but we got the most fish from the swamp. My mother would always marvel at the catch we brought home while inspecting our clothes and shoes. Swamp fish became fertilizer for the garden.
Do you like pasta sauces?

Talapia is one of the few fishies that is still really good for us - onot a lot of mercury or pollutants.
I wish Wahoo would come in season!!!
