Brownies. I used to have a special recipe and lost it, you mixed it in a saucepan, 1 stick melted butter, 4 sq bitter choc, 4? eggs, flour.

Now I have an oversize pyrex glass baking dish, 10X15X2. I buy two boxes of Pillsbury classic or original brownie mix (not the kind with the extra junk), follow instructions on the box. Everybody loves them. They are shiny on top and chewy if you don't overbake them.

I also make rectangular pies in that huge pan, apple, cherry, rhubarb, peach, apricot, and crumbly piecrust top with that large crystal sugar sprinkled over it. My family goes nuts when I do that.

I bake fish in it, too, go to the store and buy a medley of what looks good, melt butter and margarine, spread over it, sprinkle with paprika, Lawry's seasoned salt, dried parsley, bake 400 for 20-30 min, basting. Squeeze fresh lemon.

I have yet to make a cake in that pan lol.

While I'm in a chatty mood here, I got hungry for gingerbread and real whipped cream. One store only had the whole wheat kind, my regular store had a small supply Betty Crocker?, so I bought one box, now I can't find it at that store. You don't grease the pan, mix one cup of water and bake ??? My family went crazy over that, granddaughter will not eat cake but loved that. Of course, that goes in a square pan.

I have yet to bake a cake in that huge glass pan lol. It seems you would have to use two boxes of mix. I've been copying and saving some of the recipes that sound good. Off to find the stuffed mushrooms.
