I used to get this concotion in sandiego that was corn tortillas in a baking dishfollowed by with 2 eggs cooked just soft and runny under chorizo( the real stuff! not grocery store stuff) and topped with soft white cheese.
It was baked in the oven and served with TX toast all ooey and gooey and hot....yum!

#831. That sounds good. I think I will try it with the chicken I get at the butcher shop (think they are raised the old-fashioned way and taste better). Does it make enough sauce to serve over noodles?

Thank you fatima!
One of my favorite recipes is very simple..
A 1 lb package of white navy beans..
One real meaty hambone..
A couple of onions diced..
S&P to taste..
Throw the whole thing in a crockpot...
Put in enough water to cover..
I cook it on a low setting for 8 hours
(after soaking the beans overnight first)
Serve with cornbread..
Yum!
