I used to get this concotion in sandiego that was corn tortillas in a baking dishfollowed by with 2 eggs cooked just soft and runny under chorizo( the real stuff! not grocery store stuff) and topped with soft white cheese.

It was baked in the oven and served with TX toast all ooey and gooey and hot....yum!

I have a Lima Bean recipe
Cooked ham with bone-leftovers chopped up and throw the bone in the pot-add at the end
Cook a bag of white lima beans in low water for 2 hours-test to see if soft
Leave stock and add 1 bottle of ketsup
cooked chopped celery
cooked chopped onion
cooked 1 pound of bacon cut up
cook another hour Takes four hours and taste better the next day.
add hot sauce of you want.

You could make it with chocolate if youd like!

But then it would be Nicks Pasta... It would be Stars Pasta! :)

#831. That sounds good. I think I will try it with the chicken I get at the butcher shop (think they are raised the old-fashioned way and taste better). Does it make enough sauce to serve over noodles?

Thank you fatima!
One of my favorite recipes is very simple..
A 1 lb package of white navy beans..
One real meaty hambone..
A couple of onions diced..
S&P to taste..
Throw the whole thing in a crockpot...
Put in enough water to cover..
I cook it on a low setting for 8 hours
(after soaking the beans overnight first)
Serve with cornbread..
Yum!
Ms.B

bake at 450 for 15 min, reduce to 350 and bake an additional 45 minutes.

allow to cool and serve
