I agree with you and I am sorry so many freepers think prenups are the way to go. If you hedge your bets before you marry, you're not really getting married. That people believe it's more important to protect money than to foster lasting values (love, marriage, etc.) is very sad. The Bible says, "Store not for yourself treasure on earth, where moths can eat and thieves can break in and steal. Rather, store up for yourself treasure in Heaven."

Whenever these man/woman, divorce, or pre-nup threads come up, there is so much bitterness thrown around I think I'm on DU. Am I the only person on FR that's happily (and FULLY) married, and has been for MANY years (19) ?
