#758: Yeah, neither Blanco nor Nagin is smart enough to try to set the President up that way. I'm certain they were getting their marching orders from out of town.
My two top picks are Soros and She Who Must Not Be Named. Could be they collaborated.

I still want to know why Clinton fell at Greg Norman's.Maybe Greg had "had it up to here" and gave him a gentle push.

After all the press fever, I think that Cheney is due for a huge group hug.

That is
precisely what went on, with Gramma's LEOs blocking one bridge and Gretna LEOs blocking the other bridge.
The DUmmies had talking papers floating everywhere around DC outlining the posse comitatus violations, but Bush never took the bait.
What the MSM should worry about, and what they'll find out the hard way in these elections, is that so many people in the US are exactly aware of every detail that happened in NO, certainly far more that those MSM losers that had to be called back from their month-long vacations on Nantucket and Fire Island to cover the story.

I forgot to add that my mother is concerned for Cheney's health. Her words were "They're going to make that nice man have another heart attack.". She said that you can tell a lot about a person from their facial expressions, and she said "he's just got such a sweet countenance." My mother, who's almost 83, gets it.

Dick Cheney is the most competent person in this administration. W included. And I will always stand by my tagline.Agreed.

Latest MSM spin from, of all people, Mancow on Fox:
Cheney really didn't have a human reaction to this, and only came out to do the interview because Rove ordered him to.
I just sent a fuming e-mail to Fox.

Just reading the comments of all of you that watched is breaking my heart. I don't think I could take it. It's so awful to watch a man like this be torn apart by the media jackals during one of the worst times of his life. I didn't think I could hate these slimy nasty slugs like Nedra Pickler and David Gregory any more than I do already. But after watching this wonderful man be crucified by these jackals, I can and I do.I pray he doesn't let these awful slugs bring him down. His emotional state must be tender right about now. He's been treated so badly for so very long, it's a disgrace to the nation.

Latest MSM spin from, of all people, Mancow on Fox: Cheney really didn't have a human reaction to this, and only came out to do the interview because Rove ordered him to. That's unbelievable. I'm surprised Mancow wasn't running with the "drinking" angle.
I think I'll contact FoxNews also.

I am absolutely infuriated with this, as well as Peggy Noonan's incredibly vile column.
Some of these commentators are obviously currying favor with the leftists they hang out with. It is disgusting.

By the way, a comment on David Letterman.
I used to have a decent amount of respect for him. I considered him a rather pleasant guy. But ........ the last two nights he has boisterously told his audience and the viewing public that Dick Cheney shot Mr. Whittington in the face because he was tired of Mr. Whittington making jokes about his lesbian daughter.
I had never heard anything so vile as that, and it was from a guy who I had thought was somewhat of a gentleman! This was much worse than Kerry slipping the "lesbian daughter" thing in at the Presidential debate.

Ugh. Letterman has been in New York too long. I am especially infuriated by his leftist bent, as he got his start right here in my home town, and I used to like him a lot.

I am just amazed at the number of people who think we as the public "have a right to know" about the who what where when and how of this story.
It was an accident, we heard about it, the man is/was concerned about his friend that he just hurt-- and his family. He feels horrible. He hates the press and so do I. And beyond that we should have known more sooner???? Why?? JUST WHY???? Did this have ANYthing to with his job or policy? What a bunch of busy body peeping tom babies who really think that most of us care beyond the basics.
Did you hear, Giraldo last night and mancow this morning?? Tori what's her name and even ED on Fox & Friends.
Good grief!!! Talk about out of touch!!

These days, the MSM needs a chapter in the DSM.
