Let me just say this as a 59 year old male............. Meagan Kendall (FoxNews) is
the finest and smartest woman in the media ........... and Dick Cheney, when he speaks soon, will do excellently!
My 22 year old male cat, Henry, was shot by buckshot when he was about five years old.......... he's still doing his thing and asking for bacon every morning!

Two nights ago Chris Matthews said that his e-mail was loaded with people telling him this wasn't an important story. Chris turned to his guest and said "Maybe we're not talking about it enough."
I almost fell down in the kitchen and died right there.

LOL. That's good!
Humor is going to turn this thing around....big time.
I personally believe that Cheney hates the press corp, wanted to make sure Whittington was ok...and now is going to flog them by being charming and funny. He was man enough to take the heat to give his friend some space to recover.
He doesn't smile much, but he has a smirk that would melt butter. Just remember how many times the press told us he would be horribly angry and grouchy in his debates. And each and every time, he was a witty, funny, warm charmer.
In fact, the only time he seems truly surly...is in dealing with self-important windbags like David Gregory. Ha!

I hope McClellen was taking notes. He lectured to the press that if anyone asked the same question twice he would end the presser at that moment----

"Open government demands that the vice president come clean with what happened," Pelosi said. "We have to break this habit of the administration, of closed government without the openness that is healthy to a democracy." Wouldn't it be interesting to see just how supportive Pelosi would be of "open government" if the press were to demand that she share with the public all of her correspondence with leftist advocacy groups and lobbyists. After all, we have to break this habit of the Democrats in Congress of closed government without the openness that is healthy to a democracy. That would shut her mouth pretty quickly, wouldn't it...

Maybe as long as they don't hear it outloud, they can justify the way they ignore it? Or they're hoping most of America has forgotten....or that the younger Americans don't know anything about it.
I say shout it from the rooftops!

Oh, well, nuts!!! I have to leave in a few minutes and I won't get to hear anything until Brit's show.
Well, I predict snarky comments from Shep, who is still flogging the hurricane story.
I guess I will make myself run the vacuum before I leave. I will check the thread later.

Just a feeling, but Cheney has a good sense of humor and is less than politically correct. A GOOD thing. I just can't escape the thought that Cheney's friends are the same, and the pressers are in for a tongue lashing from Whittington when he feels like addressing the idiots.

You know, I took the LOL out of the front of my post, 'cuz I start waaay too many of my posts that way. For you, I guess I should have left it in there, so you wouldn't think I was being overly serious. See post #46. He got it.
If you've never seen him sneering, what look would you call the one that was brought to our attention in this thread?
