LIVE Thread: Able Danger hearing
C-Span & Congressman Weldon's office ^ | 2/15/06 | abner

Please take a moment to call the C-Span office to let them know you would like to see the Able Danger hearings today. The hearing starts at 2:30 eastern time today. It is not on their schedule and when I called C-Span they said they did not know if or when they would run the hearing. Then I called Congressman Weldon's office and they are baffled that C-Span is not running the hearing. I told Weldon's office I would put this thread up and hopefully enough people will call C-Span to encourage them to run the hearings live.

Call C-Span- Main Number: (202) 737-3220

Yeah it's up to us for sure, CNX did their three minutes but they will have Weldon on tomorrow and a few others, so at least they are touching the tip of the iceberg.
but let's face it, for in-dpeth reporting t.v. is a vast wasteland.

Peach, is Weldon looking at the entire history of Able Danger, or just the aspects tied to 9-11? Because if it's the latter, I think he night want to consider widening his scope.

Rush today did question the decision to let an United Arab Emirates' company run major seaside ports in the United States.

Savage is not the lone Ranger on that one.

CNN's Lou Dobbs was suppose to have Weldon on with him if they had not gone into closed session.

CNN did cover the hearings at least and I expect Dobbs to get Weldon on if he had already been schedule to appear.

Unfortunately, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is an "idiot magnet" of the worst kind - it attracts all the dimmest "liberal internationalist" types, of both parties, who want to institute world socialism run by the UN, EU, and our very own Demagogic Party.........

You know, I don't really know the answer to that, mewzilla. My sense is that Weldon is looking at AD in view of 9/11 and what we could have done differently to possibly prevent it and also to prevent future terrorist attacks.

CNN covered the hearings? Sheesh. I just listened on the computer and it was hard knowing who was talking.

I seem to remember hearing this on the downlow back in the day. Mostly rumor and subterfuge so I thought. Funny what becomes true, heh.
