It's Official: Inmates Run Democratic Asylum

· “The U.S. government committed “terrible abuses” against Arabs after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.”

· “Arabs had been ‘indiscriminately rounded up’ and held in ‘unforgivable’ conditions.”

· “The Bush administration was playing into al-Qaeda’s hands by routinely blocking Saudi visa applications.”

· “The thoughtless way in which visas are now handled, that is a mistake.”

· “The worst thing we can possibly do is to cut off the channels of friendship and mutual understanding between Saudi Arabia and the United States.”

These are some of the statements of former Vice President Al Gore, before an effectively all-Arab Saudi audience during the recent Jeddah Economic Forum. They sound a lot like a MoveOn.org rally aimed at garnering voter support for yet another failed presidential bid. But since it was an all-Arab crowd, he was probably just seeking campaign funding…

Isn’t Al the Grand Pooh-Bah of America’s lunatic left, who has been asking why we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq instead of bombing Saudi Arabia, since most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi? Isn’t this the guy in charge of the tree-hugging whale-saving baby-killing constituency who accused the Bush Administration of letting Saudi diplomats flee war torn American shores in the hours following the 9/11 attacks?

I thought so… Yet here he is, in all his glory, speaking to a room full of fellow millionaires, using this very unique opportunity to once again effectively pour gas on the fire storm of Arab dissent for the very country Gore unfortunately calls home. What a guy!

They should not have let this SOB back into the USA, or at least they should have arrested him.

I wonder if, AT LEAST, put him on the terrorist watch list.

Treason doesn't seem to exist in this country anymore. Everything falls under the heading of "free speech" if it is a dissenting view towards our country, our policies, or our religions.

Jay Rockefeller traveling to Syria to warn them of imminent invasion of Iraq days after 9/11... If that doesn't qualify as treason...nothing does.

Pick him up at customs, seize the Saudi money he got and arrest him.
Then make him show where the rest of the Saudi money he get is going.

What a piece of garbage.

He's the male Hillary. Being spurned has made him angry, bitter and strident.

Al Gore is a serial masturbator.

No , not himself, he masturbates his audiences, tells them what gets them off. No fantasy is too wild for Big Al.

I don't know which is more astounding...

That anyone would say such things, or that he is allowed to get away with it.

It's a start, but Al is lacking in so much more. Don't you think?

Oh he is lacking much, much more. But I think his lack of common sense is the foundation on which all his other failings rest. He is unable to make reasonable judgements due to his lack of common sense. This country does not realize how lucky it is that he did not become president, it would have been completely and utterly disastrous.
