If I understand TX state law correctly, there's no requirement to report non-lethal hunting accidents to the authorities. The veep notified them anyway, and the local press was notified, too. The press gave the Toons a pass for eight years, spiked stories for them, and now same the press is whining about full disclosure?

Note to the MSM: Good luck.

A poll about prosecuting for an accidental shooting? It's being taken seriously? And people wonder why a pure democracy is one of the worst forms of government.

Yeah, they should prosecute, impeach Bush, Cheney, and then disband our government and way of life. In fact, let's just usher in muslims by the millions and turn the country over to them.

I suppose that's what the Dims wanna hear/see.

This entire thing w/ the shooting is a bit ridiculous. .

Democrats, the gift that keeps on giving...

They're so over the top any "normal" person is totally turned off by their never ending hysterics.

Let's hope you're right about the reaction of "normal" voters, because the New York Slimes is indeed reporting the DA will "probably" convene a grand jury if Whittington dies:

Hysterical and hopeful, no doubt, but they at least scooped the local newspaper this time.

Really, one could say they've driven themselves so far underwater- and since no one has notified the authorities- they'll likely drown.

Speaking of the Toons, does anyone know how long they waited before advising the press that Vince Foster was found dead in his office... I mean a park?

No crime was committed or alleged. There is no National Security implication. The events have no bearing on any public situation. The press has a "right-to-know" no more than the press has a "right-to-know" When Sean Penn gets in a fight or Jennifer Lopez gets in a car wreck. They can ask the questions but I don't see that they need to be positively informed. The press is in full paparrazzi mode.

When that brain dead idiot reporter said "You never answered the question", I would have said "That's right. I don't answer people who are STUCK ON STUPID!"
