I know, I was being an idiot. Where I'm going to school now, it doesn't matter if I'm clean cut or bearded, I couldn't meet a friggin' girl to save my life! Plus, have to keep up appearances during hunting season, and it gets cold in the winter here too.

I do a bit of light mountaineering in the spring/summertime, the town we stay in, every time I've been 'scruffy' I've gotten smiles and conversations from good looking outdoorsy gals. Every time I've been clean cut, nada. I'm holding out for the outdoorsy ones :-) (No hippies though.)

Mine does. She even thought it was sexy when I had my hair in a Viking style ponytail and my beard was long enough to braid. (Of course, she does reenactment too, so. . .)

Unfortunately now I have an office job, so the hair and beard have been censored.

Have to disagree. I get far more compliments than not, and the picture on my home page doesn't really do my beard justice anymore.
